What is Word Nest?
Word Nest is a calm word puzzle with Violet, the night-owl OvO who loves reading by lantern. Every level gives you a round nest of 3 to 7 letters and a small crossword to fill.
Swipe across the letters to spell a word. Words that belong to the crossword drop into it; other real words are bonus words that fill Violet’s lantern for free hints. Every chapter visits a new corner of the OvO islands. Words are in English.
How to play
- Swipe across the letters in the nest, then let go to try the word.
- Words that fit the crossword drop into their squares.
- Other real words are bonus words: five of them give a free hint.
- Shuffle is always free. Finish without hints for three stars.
Tips
- Look for the longest word first: it uses every letter.
- Plurals and short three-letter words fill many squares.
- Shuffle the nest when you are stuck: new neighbours show new words.
